April TBR Reading Possibilities
I’ve got eight books to share for my April To Be Read pile. After having such a large pile of reading possibilities for the month of March (I’m looking at you Middle Grade March and March Mystery Madness Readathons…Ha!), I decided I would trim down my numbers a bit.
Two of my choices actually have opening paragraphs set in April which I think is so fun! I love pairing real life timelines with fictional novels.
Here are my picks. Have you read any of these? Let me know your thoughts!
Anna & Her Daughters by DE Stevenson - This is the Cozy Reader Book Club choice for this month
Martin Pippin in the Apple Orchard by Eleanor Farjeon - This is a vintage choice (published in 1921) solely made for the cover!
The Full Moon Coffee Shop by Mai Mochizuki - I found this book in a little free library and as I have a goal of reading more translated works this year, this Japanese novel fit the bill!
Verse & Vengeance by Amanda Flowers - This is the fourth book in the Magical Bookshop Series and the cover looks perfect for spring.
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro - I also have a goal of reading more Ishiguro works, this is the month I am going to get to this book! It also fits with the TBR Clear Out readathon!
The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion Volume 4 by Beth Brower - Fourth volume in the fourth month. I am adoring this series!
The Amalfi Curse by Sarah Penner (releases 4/29) - I got this e-ARC via netgalley and am excited to read my first book by this author. Fingers crossed for no spice!
Smoke on the Wind by Kelli Estes (releases 6/27)- I got this e-ARC via netgalley and am excited to read my first book by this author. I have an inkling that temporal dimensions will be played with in this book set in Scotland.
