Literary Apothecary: Magical Realism

The new genre for my LITERARY APOTHECARY series is "Magical Realism" which is one of my all-time favorite genres!

I also decided to try annotating a book - complete with highlighting and doodling and writing and everything. What an immersive reading experience that is! I thought I could share my techniques in you're interesting in trying the annotating experience as well.

Here are my MAGICAL REALISM RECOMMENDATIONS:

The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods

The Story Collector by Evie Woods

The Mysterious Bakery on Rue de Paris by Evie Woods

The Alchemy of Flowers by Laura Resau

Sarah Addision Allen Books - Garden Spells & First Frost are favorites

The Girl at the Window by Rowan Coleman

The Book Charmer by Karen Hawkins
